Looking at the sales figures, in the last March, the company has sold a total of 7,621 units of Alto 800, which is 56 percent less than the total 17,401 units in the same month last year. While Wagon R has registered tremendous growth during this period, the company has sold a total of 24,634 units, which was just 18,757 units in the same month last year. Coming to the new avatar, it has registered a staggering 31% growth in price sales making it the best selling car in the country, while the Alto slips to the 16th spot.

During this time Maruti's sub-four meter compact sedan car Dzire has become the second best-selling car in the country. The company has sold a total of 18,623 units as against 11,434 units in March last year. There has been a tremendous increase of 63 percent in the sales of this sedan car. While Maruti Baleno has been ranked third in terms of sales, the company has sold a total of 14,520 units, which is 32 percent less than 21,217 units in March last year.

The biggest reason for this is that this car has not been updated for a long time and the company is preparing to launch its next generation model soon, which will be offered with major changes. At the same time, Wagon R has been updated and launched recently, which is why this month customers have preferred Maruti Wagon R over Alto.

 The new facelift model of Maruti Wagon R has been launched recently. The company has made many major changes in this car which make it better than the previous model. Not only advanced features have been included in this, but its mileage has also increased significantly. Its price ranges from Rs 5.39 lakh to Rs 7.10 lakh. 

The company has introduced the Wagon R with a dual-paint scheme, which means that the exterior of this car has been decorated with dual paint. Which makes the look of the car even better. Instead of the old theme, the cabin gets new beige and dark gray melange upholstery. Apart from this, the feature list now includes automatic start-stop system and hill-hold assist in automatic trims. The 7-inch SmartPlay Studio unit now comes with Satellite Navigation with Connected Car applications.

Gives excellent mileage of 34Km:

The three-cylinder 1.0-litre petrol variant of the new Maruti Wagon R delivers a mileage of 25.19 kmpl, which is an absolute 15 per cent increase over the previous model. At the same time, the mileage of its CNG variant has also increased by 5 percent, the company claims that its CNG variant gives mileage of up to 34.05 km per kg. At the same time, the 1.2 liter petrol variant given in it, which generates power of 88.7 bhp, gives mileage of up to 24.43 kmpl, which is 19 percent more than the previous model.
